Message from the General Superintendent

As I begin the responsibilities given me by the General Council, I seek and covet the prayers and good wishes of this wonderful family, the Assemblies of God.  I feel the Lord has directed my heart to work diligently on five core values during my tenure as general superintendent:

• Passionately proclaim, at home and abroad, by word and deed Jesus as Savior, Baptizer in the Holy Spirit, Healer, and Soon Coming King.
• Strategically invest in the next generation
• Vigorously plant new churches.
• Skillfully resource the Fellowship.
• Fervently pray for God's favor and blessing as we serve Him with pure hearts and noble purpose.

You'll be hearing more about these core values in the October issue of Enrichment.  Let's pull together and advance the name and mission of Jesus in the days God gives us to serve together.  We are indeed called to serve.
